my reaction on the AWAKING

i liked this book a lot because it really made me think how good our society is. i mean our country lets women think for themselves. i really liked how Edna finally discovers what she should do with her life. she stands up for herself and that really reminded me of me. i thought that it was really important that she moved out. because everyone knows her ex husband is never going to change. i felt a deep sorta dislike towards him just because he believe women belong in the kitchen and they should take care of everyone...when in reality it should be both ways. there should be an equal amount of work. and not all of the stress on one person. i felt a really big connection to Edna because she is very strong willed like me. she made me think about how you shouldn't sit around and just think about doing something but really do it. i enjoyed reading this book and i think that this book had a true true meaning and impact on my life!!!!
